Design

Using the latest technology along with ever changing ideas, Trinity is able to create exciting new products. Working with a diverse group of inventors and transportation research institutions, Trinity has helped develop energy-absorbing devices, and is presently working on the next generation of highway safety products.

Develop

By working closely with each state's Department of Transportation and toll road entity, Trinity's sales and marketing teams are able to aid in the product approval and specification process. Once approved, specified and let, we begin the manufacturing process in one of our six highway safety product facilities.

Test

Trinity uses several test facilities, including the Texas Transportation Institute, to conduct the required crash tests for product approval by the Federal Highway Administration. Each product must meet the requirements of NCHRP-350. Test results are then presented to the Federal Highway Administration for review and acceptance to use on the National Highway System.

Trinity Highway Safety Products, Inc., headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is the leading manufacturer of highway guardrail, highway guardrail end treatments, temporary and permanent crash cushions, truck-mounted attenuators and cable barrier systems. Offering a complete line of standard and proprietary products, Trinity is the market leader in both innovation and safety standards. Trinity's products are designed, tested and approved to federal and state safety guidelines.

All products have been accepted and approved by the Federal Highway Administration as being National Cooperative Highway Research Program Report 350 (NCHRP Report 350) compliant. For all federally funded highway projects, state departments of transportation are required to specify guardrail end treatments, crash cushions and barriers that meet the requirements of NCHRP Report 350. Trinity innovations that satisfy such requirements include the ET-Plus™ Guardrail End Treatment, the Trinity Attenuating Crash Cushions (TRACC™), and Cable Safety System (CASS™).
